WATER ABSORPTION
PAVE ESPANIA pavers have low water absorption. High water absorption reduces the life and quality of the pavers and is also a major contributor of moss and algae growth. This leads to blackening of the paver making them look undesirable.
Average water absorption should be less than 6% by weight and no individual block should have water absorption over 7%.
High quality controls and machinery ensure highly diversified pavers with low water absorption rate.
TOLERANCE IN DIMENSIONS
Ensures the quality of interlocks, straightness of lines and prevents individual blocks in a pavement from sagging.
Tolerance of +/- 2 mm on length and width and +/- 3 mm for thickness. Thickness of wearing layer should be 6 mm with tolerance of +/- 2 mm.
At PAVE ESPANIA , only moulds from special high grade steel is used to give the best dimensional accuracies in the industry. Regular in-process checks include recording of each dimension, flatness, straightness etc..
